Coupling Functions in Neuroscience

Neural interactions play one of the central roles in brain mediating various processes and functions. They are particularly important for as a complex system that has many different functions from same structural connectivity. When studying such coupling very suitable, inherently they can reveal underlaying functional mechanism. This chapter overviews some recent widely used aspects neural interactions. Coupling discussed connection to two levels interactions—that neuron brainwave cross-frequency Aspects relevant this both, theory methods, presented. Although discussion is based on neuroscience, there strong implications from, to, other fields well.
